Their independently-tested wet-slip resistance is unequaled, offering over 30% more wet traction than any competitors' crutch tips we've tested. Embedded inside my Tornado AIR/Rain Tips is a sizeable perforated steel disk that is mechanically bonded to the surrounding envelop. The disk will support significant crutch loads and flex without ejecting the disk, making it last longer than ordinary store-bought crutch tips, making them the best choice for long-term crutch users.
